In 1861 Thomas Tuckerman (65) of Malborough, unmarried, retired farmer, was living in Batson, Malborough, Devon. Present was sister Harriott Edwards (60) of Malborough, widow, housekeeper

Letters of Administration of the personal estate of Thomas Tuckerman late of Higher Batson in the Parish of Malborough in the County of Devon, yeoman, a bachelor, deceased, who died 30 January 1867 at Higher Batson aforesaid were granted at Exeter to John Tuckerman of Aveton Gifford in the County aforesaid, yeoman, the brother and one of the next of kin of the said deceased, he having been first sworn.
