In 1881, Richd. Knapman (30) of Townstal, labourer, and wife Susan (32) of Dartmouth, green grocer, were living in Globe Ave?, St. Saviour's, Dartmouth. Present were children (born in Dittisham): Wm. H. (5), scholar, Edith B. (3), scholar, Richd. J. (1)

In 1891, Richard Knapman (40) of Dartmouth, general labourer, and wife Susan (41) of Dartmouth, were living in Hannover St., St. Saviour, Dartmouth.
