In 1911 Lily Ann Mitchell, aged 36, born in St. Agnes Cornwall (mother of 4 children), and husband of 14 years James Mitchell, aged 38, born in Gwennap Cornwall, miner, were living in Creegbrause, St. Day. With them were children (born in Creegbrause Kenwyn) Richard James (12), Annie Jane (9), Samuel John (7), and Beatrice (3).

In 1921 Lily Ann Mitchell, aged 46 years 6 months, born in St. Agnes, at home, and husband James Mitchell, aged 50 years 1 month, born in Kenwyn, tin miner, were living in Church Hill, Chacewater. With them were children (born in Kenwyn) Richard James (23y 1m), labourer, Annie Jane (19y 10m), dress-maker, Samuel John (18y 5m), labourer - carter, Beatrice Muriel (13y 6m), and mother Lavinia Moyle (80y 8m) of Kea, widow.

In the 1939 Register Lillie Ann Mitchell (b. 24 Dec 1875*), house wife, domestic duties unpaid, and husband James Mitchell (b. 13 Apr 1872), tin miner retired, were living in Creeghouse Church Hill, Chacewater.
