In 1911 Lavinia Grainger, aged 47, born in St. Day (mother of 3 children, 2 deceased), and husband of 26 years Joseph Grainger, aged 57, born in Falmouth, boot & shoe maker, were living in Blackwater, Scorrier.
In 1921 Lavinia Grainger, aged 57 years 6 months, born in Kenwyn, dealer's assistant, and husband Joseph Grainger, aged 67 years 5 months, born in Falmouth, boot & shoe dealer, were living in Blackwater, Scorrier.

BLACKWATER.
The funeral of Mrs. Lavinia Tyack Grainger, of Blackwater, took place on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter's churchyard, Mithian, the Rev. J. Rees Jones (vicar) officiating.
The mourners were Messrs. J. Grainger, and S. J. Grainger (husband and son), R. J. Mitchell and S. J. Mitchell (nephews), Joseph Moyle sen., and jun.
