Mrs. T. A. Maguire, Thornville, Riverton-street, Clayfield, entertained a few friends at afternoon tea yesterday, in honour of Miss C. Ebbott. whose marriage to Rev. Wilfred Lawton will be celebrated at an early date. Mesdames Baldwin and Maguire and Miss Ebbott rendered musical items, and a humorous competition was won by Mrs. Moore.
