The funeral took place at Camborne Centenary Methodist Church of Olive May Sullivan, who died at Mount Pleasant House, Camborne, her home for the last two years, aged 98. The Rev. Margaret Roskilly officiated, assisted by Lyn Wills. Interment followed in the cemetery.

Miss Sullivan was born and brought up at Camborne with her three brothers.

She spent 25 years in Detroit, USA, working for an adding machine company.

On her return, she worked for the chapel as a visitor for the sick and for the ladies' group.

She was a very independent person.

Chief family mourners: Messrs and Mesdames Kenneth Williams, Ted Williams, Graham Williams (cousins).
