The annual meeting of the Camborne Wesley Guild was held in the church parlour on Tuesday evening of last week. The Rev. E. B. Keeling is re-elected president, and Messrs C. E. Tyacke, A. A. Richards, and C. V. Thomas, vice-presidents. Miss Keeling and Mr Buddle were re-elected secretaries, and Mr Joseph F. Odgers was elected roll secretary.

Mr. Odgers stressed the fact that the great significance of religion was the effect of life on character. A man's belief should so colour and shape his life, that instead of seeking only personal rewards in money, position or honours, he should do something to ease the sufferings and bring some gleam of sunshine into the lives of others....
