In 1861 Richard Johns (66) of Helstone, grocer, and [2nd] wife Maria (50) of St. Marys, were living in Magors Building Pyder Street, Borough of Truro.

The Will of Richard Johns late of the parish of St. Mary in the borough of Truro in the county of Cornwall, shopkeeper, deceased, who died 15 June 1866 at St. Mary's aforesaid, was proved 13 September at Bodmin by the oath of Maria Johns of St. Mary's aforesaid, widow, the relict, the sole executrix. Effects under £300.
