"LaVerne Evangeline Bohls, age 80 and a life long resident of Austin passed away on Saturday December 11, 2004. LaVerne was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. She took early retirement from AISD to care for her granddaughter, Kathryn. She spent her life caring for others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Endress Cato Bohls and son, Daniel Bohls. Survivors are her sons, David Bohls and wife Donna and Johnny Bohls and wife Carol, all of Austin; daughter, Marilyn Berry and husband Billy of Buda; sister, Gladys Long of Austin; grandchildren, Kathryn Bohls, Thomas Berry and Joanne Harris; great-grandchild, Jackilyn Harris; step-grandchildren, Dawn, Ron and Amy Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews...." 2
