In 1871 Robert Pepperell (28) of Slapton, bootmaker, was with his parents in Parsonage Lane, Stoke Fleming, Devon.

In 1891 Robert Pepperell (48) of Slapton, shoemaker, single, was lodging with Samuel Elliott and family in Village, Stokefleming Devon.

In 1901 Robert Pepperell (58) of Slapton, cordwainer, single, was living in Croters Hill, Dartmouth, Devon.

In 1911 Robert Pepperell (68) of Slapton, bootmaker (own account), single, was living in Crowther Hill Dartmouth Devon.
