At the time of the 1841 England Census George Cronk, aged about 45, cordwainer, and wife Harriott, aged about 40, were living in Queen St., Rochester St. Margaret. With them were children: Michal (18), Henry (16), Amelia (13), George (11), Daniel (10), William (8), John (7), Edward (4), and James (1).
At the time of the 1851 England Census George Cronk, aged 53, born in St. Margaret's Kent, widower, cordwainer, was living in Delce Lane, Rochester St. Margaret, Kent. With him were children (born in St. Margaret's): Daniel (21), cordwainer, William (19), cordwainer, John (17), cordwainer, and Edward (14), cordwainer. Visiting were Sarah Pocock (45) of Strood, unmarried, and Francis J Pocock (5) of St. Margaret, scholar.
In August 1851 George Cronk was present at the marriage of his son John Cronk to Priscilla Haggar in Northfleet Kent.

At the time of the 1871 England Census George Cronk, aged 73, born in St. Margaret Kent, widower, boot maker, was living at 13 Princes St., St. Margaret's Kent. With him was son Edward (33) of St. Margaret's, unmarried, bootmaker.
