In 1841 William Bullock, aged about 35, born in the county, copper miner, and wife Maria Bullock, aged about 35, born in the county, were in Broad Lane, Illogan, Cornwall. With them were children William (12), copper miner, James (10), copper miner, Edward (8), Mary (7), Jane (4) and Jemimah (1).
In 1845 William Bullock, aged 40, farmer, wife Maria Bullock, aged 38, and children William (15), labourer, James (13), labourer, Edward (11), labourer, Mary Ann (9), Jane (7), Jemina (5) and Eliza (2), arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. in April 1845 aboard the vessel Metoka. 2
