In 1841 Elizabeth Luke, aged about 50, born in the county, was living in Church Town, Tywardreath, Cornwall. With her were children Richard (20), engineer, John (20), engineer, Johnson (15), engineer, Jane (15) and Joseph (13).
In August 1843 Elizabeth the wife of William Luke was granted Administration of her mother's personal estate.
In 1851 Elizabeth Luke, aged 58*, born in Illogan Cornwall, and husband William Luke, aged 59, born in Illogan, farmer 11 acres, were living in Pumpfield, Pool, Illogan. With them was son William (21) of Illogan, carpenter.
