In 1881 Charles Sampson, aged 22, born in Woolwich Kent, clerk to money changer, was staying with his brother Thomas A. Sampson, aged 29, born in Woolwich, bank clerk, and his wife Elizabeth R., aged 24, born in Paddington Middlesex, at 38 Almington Street, Islington, London.
In 1891 Charles Sampson, aged 32, born in Woolwich London, insurance agent, and [second] wife Christian G., aged 30, born in Devon, were living at 94 Hatcham Rd., St. Paul Deptford, Kent. Present were children: Beatrice A. (5) of Wood Green London, Richard T. (6) of Plymouth Devon.
