" DEATH OF MR. T. H. KELSH.

The death occurred at the Streaky Bay hospital on Monday evening of Mr. Thomas H. Kelsh, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Kelsh, of Calca. Although only a young man (29 years of age), the late Mr. Kelsh had been a sufferer for several years, but it was not until a week prior to his death that hopes for a recovery were despaired of.

A few years ago, the deceased, whilst in Adelaide, had some teeth attended to, he then being in perfect health. It is supposed that unclean instruments were used, which caused an illness affecting the heart, from which Mr. Kelsh was never cured. For the last three or four years he was only able to undertake light duties, and six months ago took a position as assistant clerk of the Streaky Bay District Council, but had to relinquish this owing to continued ill-health. He was taken to the public hospital some seven or eight weeks ago, but his condition gradually became worse.

The late Mr. Kelsh was a decidedly popular young man, possessing a cheerful and even disposition and always led a clean and straightforward life. The deepest sympathy is extended to his parents and brother and also to his wife (nee Miss Olive Drever), whom he married a few days prior to his death...." ⁴
