Obituary.
"The death occurred this week at her residence, Carmel, Linda crescent, Grace Park, Hawthorn, of Mrs S. Farhood. She was a native of Malmsbury, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Coade. Mrs Farhood will be remembered by many old residents of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Wangaratta for her work in the interests of the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches respectively. In recent years she was a member of the Denham street, Hawthorn ,Methodist Church. She was an enthusiastic worker in the Hawthom district auxilary during the war. Mrs Farhood is survived by her husband Mr. S. Farhood, of 130 Queen street; one son and three daughters. The funeral took place at the Kew cemetery." 6
