"Obituary.—The sad intelligence reached Streaky Bay on Wednesday that Mr. Samuel Bastian, of Church street, Prospect, had passed away in his sleep. Deceased, who was a brother of the late Mrs. Henry Mudge, of Streaky Bay, was well known locally, being subject to the familiar appellation of "Uncle Sam " by all young people, with whom he was a general favorite. Strange to relate, his daughter, Miss Elsa Bastain, who had been staying at Streaky Bay for some months, only left for home by last week's Rupara." 6
