In 1841 Jane John, aged about 70 [sic], independent, and husband George John, aged about 81, were living in Rosemoran, Gulval, Cornwall.
In 1847 Jane John, widow, was the sole executrix of her late husband's will.

Abstract of the Will of Jane John of the Town of Penzance in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 30 Oct 1847, proved 30 Aug 1850. 2
Gives £50 to her son-in-law John Robyns.
Gives to her daughter Wilmott the wife of the said John Robyns an annuity of £100 for the term of her life, to be paid out of her estate of Rosmarron in the parish of Gulval.
All the rest of her lands and tenements, goods and chattels, she gives to her daughters Elizabeth Ann John and Maria John, appointing them co-executrices of her last will and testament.
