  Research Notes:

In 1851 Margaret Farr (28) of Gwithian, married, sailor's wife, and son John Phillips Farr (11 months) of Gwithian, were with Margaret's parents in Nanterrow, Gwithian, Cornwall.

In 1861 Margaret Skewis Farr (34) of Gwithian and husband Augustus Farr (34) of Lulworth Dorsetshire, sayfarring man, were living in Churchtown, Gwithian. With them were children (born in Gwithian): John Phillips (10), scholar, Charlotte (8), scholar, Phillipa Phillips (7), scholar, Margaret Skewis (5), scholar, Augustus (3), scholar. Margaret's brother Richard and his family were living nextdoor.

Margaret married Augustus Farr, son of William Farr and Charlotte Cathery, on 7 Aug 1849 in Gwithian, Cornwall. (Alfred "Augustus" Farr was christened on 30 May 1819 in West Lulworth, Dorsetshire, England and died on 21 Sep 1874 lost at sea between Padstow Harbour and Trevose Head.)
