In 1841 William Rogers (50), ag. lab., was living in Rosewarn, Gwinear. Present were children: William (24), copper miner, Grace (20), Mary (20), Paul (15), copper miner, Joseph (15), ag. lab., Hanna (10). With them also were Mary Bolitho (40), independent, James Bolitho (9).

In 1851 William Rogers (61) of Gwinear [sic], ag. lab., widower, was living in Rosewarne, Gwinear. Present were children (born in Gwinear): Joseph (26), ag. lab., Johanna (22), housekeeper.

In 1861 William Rogers (70) of Gwithian, ag. labourer, widower, was living in Rosewarne, Gwinear. Present were son Joseph (36) of Gwinear, ag. labourer, servant Loveday Pearce (34) of Gwinear, unmarried, housekeeper.
