(22), copper miner, Jenifor (19), Thomas (16), copper miner, John (14), scholar, Sarah (11), scholar, Grace (9), scholar, nephew John Richards (15) of Illogan, copper miner

In 1871, Tabitha Hocking (60) of Illogan and husband Edmund Hocking (62) of Illogan, farmer of 10 acres, were living in Lower Treskillard, Illogan. Present were children (born in Illogan): Thomas (27), tin miner, Sarah (21), tailoress, Grace (19)

In 1881, Tabitha Hocking (70) of Illogan, widow, cottage farmer, was living in Treskellard Illogan. Present was daughter Grace Hocking (29) of Illogan

Tabitha Hocking died aged 82 years [sic] (GROE Death Index, vol. 5c, p. 163 in conjunction with burial record). Age at death closer to 86.
