In 1851, James Rule (57) of Camborne, miner, and wife Martha (51), were living in Newton Moor, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): John (28), miner, Anna (26), James (24), tailor, William (22), miner, Richd. (19), miner, Fanny (11), scholar, Oliver (9), scholar, Martha (7), scholar

In 1861, James Rule (67) of Cornwall, farmer, and wife Marth (60) of Camborne, were living in Condurrow, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): James (33), engine man, Willm. (31), Marth (17), Hannah (14) [sic]

James married Martha PASCOE, daughter of John PASCOE and Mary, on 19 Nov 1819 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Martha PASCOE was born in 1800 in Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 2 Mar 1800 in Camborne, Cornwall and died on 23 Apr 1876 in Camborne, Cornwall.)
