The Gesta Consulum Andegavorum names "Fulco Rufus alium [filium] …tertium iuniorem…alter Fulco cognominatus Bonus" when recording that he succeeded his father.
He succeeded his father as FOULQUES II "le Bon" Comte d'Anjou. He made peace with the Normans. 2

Foulques married Gerberge du Gâtinais, probably daughter of Geoffroy II, comte du Gâtinais, and Ava d' Auvergne, about 937. (Gerberge du Gâtinais was born between 913 and 915 in Gatinais, Loiret, Orleanais/Centre, France and died in 952/3.)

Foulques also married Roscilla de Blois, Comtesse de Bretagne, daughter of Thibault "l'Ancien" vicomte de Troyes, and Richilde de Bourges, after 952. (Roscilla de Blois was born in 925.)
