She was a member of the Nevada County Genealogy Society, and the Nevada County Historical Society. She enjoyed genealogy and travel.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hailer of Grass Valley; daughter, Julie Hailer of Tucson, Ariz.; son, Mark Hailer of Rosemount, Minn.; granddaughters Emily Hailer of Tucson, Ariz., Emily Patterson of Rosemount, Minn.; grandsons Erick Patterson, William Hailer, John Hailer all of Rosemount, Minn.; and brothers Ronald Rowe of Walnut Creek, and Leland Rowe of Sanger. 3
