In 1861 Grace Blewett, aged 13, born in St. Ives Cornwall, tin dresser, was boarding with widow Elizabeth Slight in Village of Halsetown, St. Ives.

In 1871 Grace Blewett, aged 23, born in St. Ives, was working as a housemaid for William Hinton Drake, vicar of Halsetown, in St. Johns Parsonage, St. Ives.

In 1881 Grace Blewett, aged 32, born in St. Ives, widow [sic]*, laundress, was living in Halsetown, St. Ives. Present was son Edmund Blewett (8) of St. Ives, scholar, niece Kate Blewett (17) of St. Ives, laundress.

* Baptismal register shows Edmund was the natural-born son of Grace.

In 1891 Grace Blewett, aged 43, born in St. Ives, laundress, single, was living in 44 Halsetown Bottom Road, St. Ives. Present was son Edward [sic] Blewett (18) of St. Ives, labourer in a shipyard, niece Kate Blewett (26) of St. Ives, laundress.

In 1901 Grace Blewett, aged 53, born in St. Ives, single, laundress (employer), was living in Halse-town, St. Ives. With her were son Edmond Blewett (28) of St. Ives, retired tin miner, niece Kate Blewett (35) of St. Ives, laundress.

In 1921 Grace Blewett, aged 74 years 3 months, born in St. Ives, single, home duties, was living at 66, Halsetown, St. Ives. With her was niece Catherine Blewett (57y 2m) of Halsetown, single, home duties.
