"DEATH OF MR. J. KOLLOSCHE.
Dr.. Dunstan, who only so lately had occasion to mourn the death of his mother, received word on Wednesday morning that his father, Mr. John Kollosche, had died at 3 a.m.. and left by service car for Adelaide.
Mr. E. M. Brokate, the head master of the Renmark Public school, was for some years associated with Mr. Kollosche in the Education Department and he was obviously distressed when informed on Thursday of Mr. Kollosche's death. Mr. Brokate paid a high tribute to his late associate's high scholastic attainments and to his honourable and upright character. As a young man he travelled to England to make himself thoroughly acquainted with the English language. He was a great lover of Shakespeare and the other classics. On reaching Australia he entered the Education Department and gained his bachelor and master of arts diplomas at the Adelaide University. His studies were conducted in 'his spare hours, and continued long after he had gained his degrees. He was a scholarly and lovable gentleman and most highly esteemed by those who knew him." 5
