"SUDDEN DEATH AT ILLOGAN.
Mr. Barrie B. Bennetts (deputy coroner), held an inquest at Portreath on Monday on the boy of Joseph Prisk, of 4, Nancekuke Place, Illogan. Mabel Jane Davey Laity, daughter of deceased, gave evidence of identification and said her father was 87 years of age. He was a retired mining engineer and had always enjoyed very good health. On Wednesday he went out of doors, and on Thursday he appeared to have taken cold. When her husband returned he went for the doctor. Dr. O'Donnell said on Saturday morning he was informed of the illness of deceased. When he arrived at the house Mr. Prisk was dead. He attributed death to senile heart decay. The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence." 4
