Abstract of the Will of Balthazar Williams of the Parish of Probus in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman, written 2 Sep 1608, proved 21 Sep 1608. ³

Gives 10 shillings to the poor of Clements.

Gives 10 shillings to the poor of Trevoro.

Gives and bequeaths £20 to his son John Williams.

Gives and bequeaths £20 to his son Josias Williams.

Gives and bequeaths £20 to his son Lanslett Williams.

Wills that his wife Elizabeth will hold for life Trevithan and Hale Down in Probus.

The residue of his goods, chattels and debts he gives and bequeaths to his said wife Elizabeth whom he ordains and makes sole executrix of his last will and testament.

An inventory of the goods and chattels of Balthazar Williams deceased was taken 25 Apr 1609 by John Sarai and John Martyn and valued at £174 00s 00d.
