In 1851 Philippa Prout (33) of Gwinear, unmarried, annuitant, was with her sister Eliza Martin (48) of Gwinear, widow, landed proprietor, in Merley? St., Camborne.

In 1861 Philippa Prout (44) of Gwinear, unmarried, house servant, was lodged with widow Eliza Martin in Camborne. Nexdoor was Philippa's widowed brother-in-law John Tremayne and his family.
