The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "Mathildis" as sister of "frater…Balduini de Burgo Gervasius" and records her marriage to "Odoni castellano Vitriaci". William of Tyre names "Mahaldam" as first sister of Baudouin II King of Jerusalem, refers to her husband as "castellanus de Vitriaco", and specifies that their son "Iterius" succeeded to Rethel after the death of her brother Gervaise. 1
