In 1423, as "Elizabeth Tochet, of Audele," she sued John Shede, Gent., for a debt of £20. In 1425, as "Elizabeth, the lady of Audeley," she sued Richard Shede, Gent., for a debt of £20. The same year she sued John Tuchet, of Audley, clerk, to render a reasonable account for the time he was the receiver of her money.
In 1437 Thomas Stawell sued Elizabeth, late the wife of John Tuchet,Knt., her son, James Tuchet, Knt., her brother, John Stafford, Bishop of Bath and Wells, and William Lee for the manors of Nether Stowey, Honibere, etc., Somerset.
Elizabeth died in 1446/7 (the date of her Inq. p.m.). 1
