To Lawrence Trussell. Order under pain of 200l. and of forfeiture, upon petition of John Olney of Weston, altogether to cease from routs and unlawful assemblies in Northamptonshire as he would avoid the king's wrath causing and procuring no bodily hurt to the petitioner and his men, and no loss of goods and property, knowing of a surety that if by his default or procurement hurt or peril shall happen to them, the king is minded to punish him so grievously that the punishment shall be a terror to others resisting the king's commands; as the said John's complaint shews that, fearing not the king's majesty and the rigour of the law, the said Lawrence is purposing to make such routs and assemblies, threatening the lives of the complainant and his men, whereby not only is the peace like to be broken, but an evil example given to the king's subjects.
The like to William Trussell.
