In 1871, Jane Richards (40) of Wendron, and husband Richard K. Richards (47) of Breage, were living in Breage. Present were children (born in Breage): Joseph J. (17), farmer's son, Jane (9), scholar, Thomasine (5), scholar, Emily (3).

In 1881, Jane Richards (56) [sic] of Wendron, widow, farmer of 46 acres employing 1 labourer and 1 boy, was living in Little Methleigh, Breage. With her were children (born in Breage): Joseph J. In 1891, Jane Richards (60) of Wendron, widow, farmer, was living in Little Methleigh, Breage. With her were children (born in Breage): Thomasine (24), Emily (21), Jane Thomas (29), married, son-in-law William M. Thomas (35) of Wendron, accountant, grandchildren (born in Breage): Joseph L. Thomas (5), Daisy Thomas (1), brother-in-law John Richards (70) of Breage, single, living on his own means, grandson Richard Richards (8) of Breage.
