In 1784 Nicholas Blewett became a beneficiary of the will of his maternal grandfather Hannibal Curnow of Ludgvan, receiving £25.

Abstract of the Will of Nicholas Blewett of Trelissick in the Parish of St. Erth and County of Cornwall, Yeoman, written 23 Feb 1813, proved 14 May 1817. 2
Gives to his wife Elizabeth an annuity of £33, a bed, six chairs, tables and other furniture for one room during her widowhood. After her death or remarriage he gives the latter articles to his son William Lemon Blewett.
Gives to his son William Lemon Blewett the whole of his property. If William should die without children, then he wills his property to his brothers John Blewett of the island of Scilly and Hannibal Curnow Blewett of Marazion, share and share alike.
Appoints his brother Hannibal Curnow Blewett and William Busustow the Senior of Trevethow in the parish Lelant co-executors of his last will and testament.
