In August 1826 Margaret Dower, the widow and relict of Samuel Dower late of Wendron, miner, was granted Administration of her late husband's goods & chattels.

In 1851 Margaret Michell, aged 53, born in Wendron Cornwall, married, tea dealer's wife, was living in Wendron Street, Helston, Cornwall. With her were children (born in Redruth) Elizabeth (19), dress maker, John (18), template worker's apprentice, Sarah (14), tailoress (apprentice), Joseph (12) (apprentice), Jane (10), scholar, and James (7), scholar.

In 1861 Margaret Michell, aged 63, born in Wendron Cornwall, and husband William Michell, aged 57, born in Gwinear Cornwall, tea dealer [and] draper, were living in Wendron Street, Helston, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Redruth) Jane (20), dressmaker, and James (18), tailor.

In 1871 Margaret Michell, aged 72, born in Wendron Cornwall, and husband William Michell, aged 67, born in Gwinear Cornwall, travelling tea dealer, were living in Church Street, Helston, Cornwall. With them was son James (28) of Redruth, tailor & travelling draper.
