At the time of the 1870 US Census, Samuel Prisk, aged 37, born in England, miner, and wife Mary Prisk, aged 35, born in England, were living in Rockaway Twp., Morris, New Jersey, USA. With them were children Samuel (11) of England, Hercules (9) of England, John (2) of New Jersey.
