Present were children: Elizabeth (17) of Wendron, copper ore dresser, John (16) of Stithians, copper miner, Caroline (10) of Camborne, scholar, Jane (4) of Illogan, scholar, Louisa (3) and Walter (1) of Illogan, and mother-in-law Elizabeth Jewell (75) of Wendron, widow

In 1871, Richard Reed (65) [sic] of Wendron, tin & copper miner, and wife Sophia (44) of Wendron, were living in Treskillard, Illogan. Present were children (born in Illogan): Jane (14), tin dresser, Louisa (12), tin dresser, Sampson (9), scholar, Esther (7), scholar, William (5), scholar

Richard married Elizabeth. (Elizabeth was born about 1813 and was buried on 11 May 1846 in Wendron, Cornwall.)

Richard also married Sophia JEWELL, daughter of Richard JEWELL and Elizabeth, about Mar 1850 in Helston, Cornwall. (Sophia JEWELL was born in 1828 in Nancarrow, Wendron, Cornwall, christened on 30 Jul 1828 in Stithians, Cornwall and was buried on 21 May 1888 in Illogan, Cornwall.)
