Walter Kyngdon was the Rector of the parish of St. Martins by Looe in the county of Cornwall and Prebendary of Penkerige in county Stafford. In his will, dated 27 Aug 1515, he made bequests to his nieces and nephews, that is to say:—
He gave 20 shillings each to John Kyngdon of Trehunsey and to John's sister Margery Manaton, children of his brother John Kyngdon.
He gave 20 shillings each to John Kyngdon of Looe, Edward Kyngdon, Margaret Tregian, Joane Lamylyon and Agnes Maynard, sons and daughters of his brother William Kyngdon.
He gave 20 shillings and his now tenement in East Looe to Edward Kyngdon of Fowey, son of his brother Edward Kyngdon.
He gave to his godson Walter Kyngdon, heir of John Kyngdon of Looe, his other tenement in East Looe.
He gave to Walter Kyngdon, Vicar of Lamerton in Devonshire, a silver cup.
He gave to John Kyngdon of East Looe a silver cup.
He gave to Thomas Lamylyon a gilt cup.
All the rest of his goods he gave to the said Walter Kyngdon, vicar of Lamerton, and Edward Kyngdon of Fowey, appointing them co-executors of his last will and testament.
