  Research Notes:

The name Chenoweth and its orthographic variants do not appear in the available registers for St. Agnes prior to 21 Feb 1675/6 when a John son of Sampson Chenowith was buried. For onomastic reasons, Sampson was probably an (older) brother of Bennett. Another possible brother was Michael Chenoweth who was having children during the 1690s and who died in St. Agnes in 1711.

Bennett married on 7 Apr 1684 in St. Agnes, Cornwall. His wife's name is not recorded in the register.
