Abstract of the Will of John Arundell of the Parish of Phillack in the County of Cornwall, written 25 Sep 1618, proved 5 Feb 1628/9. 4
Gives to his son John Arundell £180, three silver spoons and a gold ring.
Gives to his daughter Alce Arundell £180, three silver spoons, his wedding ring and his wife's chest.
Gives to his son Christopher Arundell his tenements in Phillack called Carwyn Kayle and Kayle Vean along with their deeds and leases.
Gives to William Glason 6 shillings 8 pence.
Gives 5 shillings to the poor man's box in the parish of Camborne.
Gives 10 shillings to rector Mr. George Phillipps for tithes forgotten.
Gives 10 shillings to his godson William Phillipps.
Gives 10 shillings to his godson John Rowe.
All the rest of his goods & chattels he gives to his son Christopher Arundell, appointing him sole executor of his will.
Nominates as overseers of his last will and testament Mr. Gregory Phillipps, rector, and Richard Pendarves, gent.
