1 The Visitations of the County of Cornwall - with additions by Lt.-Col. John Lambrick Vivian, Keigwin of Mousehole, p. 588. The Visitation shows William and Prudence also having a daughter Anne who married Anthony Gubbs in Paul in January 1656/7. William was born in 1625 and his son John was born in 1646. Ann would need to have been born somewhat earlier than 1646 to have married just over a decade later. If William married Prudence when he was seventeen years old and Anne was born in the same year (1642), she would have been fourteen going on fifteen when she married Anthony Gubbs. Time-wise, this is rather tight, even allowing for Anne having been a minor at the time.
