Incorrectly shown in The Visitation as the son of Henry Bray Gent (who died in 1646 seven years before Charles was born). Henry and Charles were first cousins once removed.

In The Name of God Amen I Charles Bray of the parish of Camborne In the County of Cornwall Yeoman being Sick and weak of Body but of A Sound and perfect minde and Memory (thanks be to God) doe make and ordaine This my Last will and Testamen In Manner And forme following
Imprimis: I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of god that gave it, and for my body I recommend to the earth, to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner At the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named Nothing doubting but at the Generall resurrection I shall receive the Same againe By the Mighty power of God
Item— I Give And Bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Angove the Sum of five pounds of Lawfull money of this realme to be paid her in twelve months after my Decease.
Item— I Give And Bequeath unto my Daughter Eunis Roberts the sum of Ten pounds of Lawfull money of this realme to be paid her in twelve months after my Decease.
Item— I give And Bequeath unto my Daughter Christian Warren the sum of one Shilling to be paid her in twelve months after my Decease.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Son Charles Bray all my right and title of in And unto three quarter parts of all and Singular that messuage and Tenement in or commonly called or known by the name of Carnamoah situate lying and being within the parish of Camborne aforesaid
Item— I Give And Bequeath unto Elizabeth my Dearly Beloved wife (whom I doe make And ordaine my sole Executor) for And During her life all and Singular that Messuage And Tenement called or known By the name of Tolcarne veane Situate lying and being within the said parish of Camborne to geather also with all my Goods and Chattles Of what nature Kind or quality so ever the Same be by her to be possessed and Enjoyed During her Life time And my farther will and pleasure is that after her Decease my before menconed well beloved Son Charles Bray Shall have and Enjoy all And Singular the before menconed Messuage called Tolcarne veane Togeather also with all Such goods and chattles as my said Executor Shall be possessed of at the time of her Death. But if in case my Dearly beloved wife shall Survive and over live my before menconed son Charles Bray then for the Said Estates togeather with my goods and chattles to be in the sole Disposall of my said Executor.
And I doe hereby utterly Disalow revoke And disannull all & every other & former Testaments wills and Legacies Bequeasts And Executors by me in Any wise before this time named willed and Bequeathed Ratifieing and confirming this and noe other to be my Last Will And Testament In Witness whereof I have here unto putt my hand and Seale this 10th Day of December Anno Dni 1724.
