In 1861 Evan Edwards (28) of Llanbedr, ag. lab., and wife Ellin (28) of Dolgelly were living in Gellyr Owen Llanbedr. Present were children: Jane (4) of Dolgelly and John (2) of Llanbedr.

In 1871 Evan Edwards (40) of Llanenddwyn, ag labourer and wife Ellen (41) of Dolgelley, were with Evan's unmarried brother John Edwards (50) of Llanfair, carpenter, in Ty Ucha Llanbedr. Present were children (born in Llanbedr): Mary (7), Owen (3), Margaret (2).

In 1881 Evan Edwards (50) of Llanbedr, farm labourer, and wife Ellen (49) of Dolgelly were living in Llanbedr Merioneth. Present were daughter Elizabeth (7) of Llanbedr, boarder Owen Edwards* (13) of Llanfair, scholar, brother John Edwards (60) of Llanfair, unmarried, joiner.
