"A pretty wedding took place in the Victor Harbour Congregational Church on Wednesday, when Leonard T., son of Mr. J. Hurrell, of Inman Valley, was married to Grace P., daughter of Mr. John Joy, of Victor Harbour. The Rev. A. G. Gordon officiated. The bridesmaids were Miss Annie Hurrell and Dorcas Joy. Mr. G. Joy was best man, and Mr. B. Millard was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Bijou Tearooms. The happy couple left for their honeymoon by the afternoon train." ⁷
