Possibly the same as George A Askew (b. 1 Jan 1907), who married Louisa E Dale (b. 23 Apr 1910) in 1934 and were living at 36 Dundonald Road, Wimbledon, Surrey in 1939, at which time George was a grocer's assistant. They had three children.
