In 1873 Emma Blakey was a witness at the marriage of her sister Betsy to Charles Plumtree.

In 1881 Emma Hollingworth (24) of Fulletby and husband James Hollingworth (28) of Horncastle, blacksmith, were living in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Present were children (born in Greetham): Herbert James (2) and Kate Lise (2 months). Emma's natural-born daughter Fanny Blakey (9) of Horncastle was with Emma's parents in Kirmond-Le-Mire, Lincs.

In 1891 Emma Hollingsworth (34) of Fulletby and husband James Hollingsworth (38) of Horncastle, blacksmith, were living in Main Street, West Stockwith, Nottinghamshire. Present were children (born in Grantham): Herbert J. (12), Kate L. (10), scholar, and Rose E. (5) of Fenton Notts.

In 1901 Emma Hollingsworth (44) of Fulletby and husband James Hollingsworth (48) of Horncastle, blacksmith, were living in Main Street, West Stockwith, Nottinghamshire. Present were children James (22) of Greetham, labourer, and Rose (15) of Fenton.

In 1911 Emma Hollingworth (54) of Fulletby Lincs. (mother of 3 children) and husband of 33 years James Hollingworth (58) of Horncastle, Lincs., retired farm labourer, were living in West Stockwith Notts. With them were children: James (32) of Greetham Lincs., single, farm labourer, and Rose (25) of Fenton Notts., general servant.

In the 1939 Register Emma Hollingworth (b. 5 May 1857)*, widowed, unpaid domestic duties, was in Main Street ,West Doncaster, East Retford R.D., Nottinghamshire. With her was son Herbert James Hollingworth (b. 6 May 1878), single, farmer. [Daughter Kate Brown and her family were living nextdoor.]

* In the GROE birth index Emma's year of birth is 1858.
