In the 1939 Register Frank Mumby (b. 19 Apr 1884), Seimans furnace pitman, and wife Sarah E Mumby (b. 5 Aug 1890), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 53 Josephine Road, Rotherham C.B., Yorkshire (West Riding). Present were children: John W R Mumby (b. 9 Aug 1914), general labourer, steel works, Frank Mumby (b. 20 Apr 1921), unemployed, Harold Mumby (b. 26 Jan 1923).
Frank Mumby, retired steelworks turner, was granted Administration of his wife's personal effects in May 1961.
