In 1901 Rachel Simpson (26) of Wrangle and husband John Simpson (22) of New Leake, corn miller & baker, were living in Fold Hill, Leake, Lincolnshire. Present were John's sister Elizabeth Simpson (20) of East Keal, and niece Selina Simpson (4) of Old Leake.
In 1911 Rachel Simpson (36) of Wrangle, assisting in business, no children, and husband John William Simpson (32) of New Leake, coal dealer, were living in High St., Wainfleet St. Mary. Boarding were [Rachel's brothers] Walter Motley (32) of Wrangle, single, green grocer, Joseph Motley (28) of Wrangle, single, green grocer, [father] John Motley of Keal Coates, widower, labourer.
In the 1939 Register Rachel Simpson (b. 9 Sep 1874), married, domestic work, was with [her brother] Walter Motley (b. 19 Oct 1878), widowed, shop keeper, in Northolme High Street, Wainfleet St. Mary, Spilsby R.D., Lincolnshire. Rachel's husband, John W Simpson (b. 15 Jan 1879), baker, married, was also in High Street.
