In 1891 Jane Greenfield (37) of Laverton Lincs. and husband Robert Greenfield (43) of New Bolingbrook, blacksmith, were living at South Gate, Hessle. Present were children (born in Hessle): Herbert [sic] (12), scholar, Florence A. (8), scholar, Frederick (7), scholar.

In 1911 Jane C. Greenfield (57) of Leverton Lincs. and husband of 33 years Robert Greenfield (63) of New Bolingbroke, blacksmith, were living at 9 Gardners Terrace Eastgate Hessle. Present were daughters Mabel O. (19) of Hessle, telephone operator, Lily A. (17), general servant domestic.
