In 1861 Joseph Travis (26) of Branston Fen, audit clerk, G.N.R., and wife Mary Ann E. (27) of Lincoln St. Mary, were living at 45A Edward Square, Islington St. Mary. Present were children (born in Lincoln St. Mary)*: Joseph H. (3), Charles H. (2), Mary E. (7 months).
* This was their mother's birthplace. The children were born in Islington (like their younger siblings in the 1881 Census).
